I can't see when you lift the hair up and cut it. Disappointing.

I’m desperately trying to find instructions for a vintage Middy Plus hair cut. Can you do an instructional video for this cut?

I am glad you put your videos on Youtube so I can learn what I need to ask for from my stylist. I have a question if you have a video on how the bottom line is cut straight across on medium length hair. I always have a problem because I have lot of hair in the back, that ends up being an issue because all the hair cut straight across ends up being a thick heavy bottom line and I would like to know the name of the technique or layering I need to ask for. I think each section can be cut maybe a millimeter different in length, would that make sense? I usually ask the stylist to take off the heaviness when it is dry, then they point cut the h*** out of it and I don't like the end result…… What is a better way to do it?

I wanted to get layers because it looks really cute, especially when some of your hair sticks out in a ponytail. But idk if it'd look cute for my hair…

As a person new to cutting hair, cutting layers seems to be the most basic thing to learn however, Hair dropping out, starting a layer here, into corners, cutting my base etc. all mean nothing to me so found this video to be useless. Also finger/wrist angle is surely more important than the elbow height.

I had my hair cut in layers but they cut it where my hair is lot shorter under and long on top..from the back looks like a few layers but when i put my hair to the front..theres long tips all around than the back…now i had my hair cut in layers bfore n its always longer at the back n under n shorter at top even when i put it to the front….but this time looks like a backwards layer..long top n front ..short under…n its bothering me😒she said she was cutting at a 90°angle..whatever that means in Layer terms.😔

How would you refine this haircut? I’m guessing it depends on what type of hair it is? (Fine, thick, curly, wavy, straight?)

Thank you so much for this info! I needed this layering so much, and was able to do it myself, without paying up the ying yang for it. Love it, and you’re right about the weight it took off! Looks great too! Thanks again for sharing your time and talent with us 💙
