Hey guys, in this hair dye tutorial, I will show you how to color your hair at home using drugstore box dye kits. These kits are actually very easy to use and I’ll also share some tips and tricks for brunettes. ♥ (CLOSED)Enter the L’Oreal Casting Creme + Zara gift card Giveaway here: http://hellowave.co/en/contest/?uuid=9z84wu5d-24e3n8ta6-bxjr-cdu2vyvc73fb&v=wpFDCsso-pQ

The hair dye color I used: L’Oreal Casting Creme 503 Golden Chocolate

This video will cover the following:
1. How to prepare before coloring.
2. Tools you need before, during, and after coloring.
3. How to apply haircolor step-by-step.
4. Tips to avoid haircolor disaster.
5. How to choose your color.

My hair coloring tips work best for dark hair or brunettes like myself. When choosing a hair color, go with two shades lighter or darker than your current hair color. At-home hair dye is perfect if you’re doing a single process or one color. If you want to add highlights, ombres, or go from black to blonde. Seek a professional hair color technician. I don’t want to be held responsible for any mishaps. lol

Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll address it in my future root touch-up video where I show you how to go from back hair to brown hair. I just need my hair to grow out a bit more for that video.

Is it just me or are your roots a lot darker than the rest of your hair after dying…?

Thank you!! It was my first time dyeing my hair. I thought the description from pamphlet was not that clear, so happy I searched youtube videos. Now I have beautiful brown hair, the only issue is how to clean my white sink, hair dye stained on it and I tried nail polish remover and makeup remover, none of them work well on it…

Great lie from L'oreal 😂 I know this video is old but to call this a semi-permanent color with no ammonia but it requires a developer and can cover dark roots with a lighter shade. That's not semi-permanent at all. A semi with no ammonia is deposit only which requires no ammonia which just stains the hair and can't actually alter the look of super dark roots.

I am asking for your help. My hair is longer than yours but it's also thin. I have never dared to color it myself at home. I'm a young woman, but due to my heritage, i have quite a few. I cannot pay for a salon do, but I'm terrified that i will make a mistake or something….I don't ever want to cut it! So it's very scary! Can you give me some advice please? It will be welcomed !

Hi my hair is slightly darker brown than the Beatles. How can I make my dark brown hair near-black naturally?
I already tried coffee, but my hair is already dark brown.
