    your so good at what you do! i think i tend to over think the entire balayage process when it should be flowing and smooth,but i'm interested to see what this would do for someone who has a lot of thick hair and is darker between levels 1&4

    It looks like he got better with his balayage technique because in his newer videos he does it better. The balayage techniqie has been around for a few decades but it started becoming popular only a few years ago. This video is old and I feel like hairstylists are now getting better at doing balayage.

    everyone here is askin why u dont use foils wrap or gloves.. well foils n wraps smear the color onto the hair that is not supposed to b coloured n gloves dont let you have the feel of the hair ehich is very important in this technique to not have stark lines n sections its more of going according to thr parting and thr head shape. the less u put on the hair the less hassle you create for yourself
