I got a really cute spikey short do and to cover the very ends that still had my old color, I used Lo'real's new Soft Silver dye. Worked perfectly! Now, I just let my hair grow out to bob length:)

Funny how the speaker isn't going gray. Her words "You can do it!" ring a bit hollow because of that, lol. I went cold turkey, but first I had all over color in the ash family so as it grew out the gray went with the color already on my hair.

My wife took the clippers to her head and did a GI JANE to remove all the black hair color and rocked that style as it grew into the beautiful silver curly long locks she has today. Has no regrets and we both love it. Embrace the gray/silver hair you have.

I'm 44 and I'm going grey naturally now, I've stopped dying it, as the chemicals were damaging my hair, so no more hair dye for me, grey all the way

Licensed stylists… this doesn't look good. It isn't well blended at all.

I didn't have a choice. My hair was falling out from chemotherapy so I had to shave it off. It is growing back gray. I am still wearing wigs because my hair is so short. But assuming it continues to grow, I am positive I am not going back to dying it. Coloring gray hair is time-consuming, expensive, and I'm not entirely sure it is a healthy process for hair or body. Anyway,

I’d do it because It is subtle and blends better… I wish my hairdresser would listen to me, because NOT everyone is looking for a BoLd transition!

just don't colour it anymore! and bite the bullet and grow you grey in and when its all grey then maybe put a clear semi on it to calm the coarseness or if you want to be funky apply a metallic semi or a colour that washes out such as the Matrix so colour cult colours, they are funky and would erase out if not needed all these colours will compliment grey not cover

I wish I could stop coloring my hair I'm starting to get grey all in the front i'm in my early to mid 30's and I feel like this is too soon for me. I wish I could just grow my natural dark , dark brown hair instead of coloring it a shade lighter so greys won't show. Its depressing ! I hate it !
